Our experience at Okura was absolutely amazing. We celebrated our daughters 14th birthday here as sushi is her favorite dinner choice. Brueelee was our server & was absolutely outstanding also to mention, the busser thid evening was as well! unfortunately I didn't get his name, & I wish I did cause he deserves a shout out! but everybody on staff tonight June 5th 2024! (Had to put the date ha ha) including the person delivering the drinks to the table from the bar, & shout out to the Bartender the drink we had was shazy Paloma, everyone was working togetherc Thank you for an incredible night for my daughter. We definitely will be back. Deserving 5 stars & a definite recommendation to eat here if you're in the desert !

Came here with my dad, he really likes this place for sushi, I've never tried it. I don't usually go this far in the valley that often at all. I'll make this quick since I'm sure I'll come back again. Dad treated me, so didn't have to worry about paying. Of course walking in, it is big and more upscale than an average sushi place. So that's good and nice but for course then that means prices are little more than other sushi places. Sat at the bar top because the wait time was long. We didn't mind at all. We both don't drink, but either way it was quiet and laid back at the bar. Bartender helped us out. Only thing that I didn't care for was I had to always fetch for him if I needed his attention , while of course when my father was around he constantly asked if we needed anything. So that was annoying considering I use to bartend and worked in the field, so didn't care for that part of those interactions. Unfortunately the roll I got was whatever, but the mango roll one that pops got I liked a lot. So guess should've switched . First experience was nice, guess despite everything I enjoyed it more because I was being treated. So that's something to keep in mind. I'm from the desert but recently moved back after over 25 years from OC/LA area so been to plenty places like these. Why sometimes I prefer going to more casual sushi places. Experiences are more enjoyable. But if you want that higher end feel, then you'll enjoy coming here.
